Walmart is equipping its stores with specialized shopping carts designed to make it easier for people with disabilities and their caregivers to navigate store aisles. The carts have a large backward-facing seat so the person sitting in it and their parent or caregiver can see each other. The full-size shopping basket is in the front of the cart.

A ‘Caroline’s Cart’ was delivered to the Walmart on North Avenue. The cart delivered on September 20th is the second of three total carts. The first was delivered at the Walmart on Warrior Way, and the third will be delivered to the Rim Rock Walmart.
