DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — Israeli strikes killed dozens of people including children on Sunday in Lebanon and isolated northern Gaza , as the world watched for signs of how the U.S. election might affect the wars between Israel and Iranian-backed militant groups Hamas and Hezbollah.

BEIRUT, Nov 10 (Reuters) - At least 23 people, including seven children, were killed and six others injured in an Israeli strike on Almat in Lebanon's Mount Lebanon province, the country's health ministry said on Sunday, adding that the death toll was likely to climb.
