Veterans Day 2024, which falls on Monday, Nov. 11., is a holiday where military veterans past and present are remembered and is observed every year to thank the men and women who served in our military.

Veterans Day is a federal holiday that takes place annually on Nov. 11. While not all companies close their doors, you can count on a few places closing for the day, or at least changing their hours.

While federal offices are closed on Veterans Day, most stores and businesses will be open, with some offering discounts and free meals to veterans and active-duty members of the U.S. military.
