Big Lots announced that it is closing its distribution center in west Columbus, leaving nearly 400 people without jobs. The Columbus-based company filed a notice to the City of Columbus on Wednesday.
As part of the process, Big Lots said it plans to close roughly 250 stores by mid-January. That’s on top of the nearly 300 stores that are already on track to close in the coming months.
