The New England Patriots are maintaining the “status quo” at the quarterback position, Jerod Mayo says. The morning after his team pulled Jacoby Brissett for rookie Drake Maye in garbage time, Mayo said that nothing has changed in regards to Brissett’s status as the starter.

The Patriots are 1-2 after a 24-3 loss to the Jets on Thursday. New England managed just 139 total yards on offense and the defense was nowhere to be found, allowing Aaron Rodgers to throw for two touchdowns in front of a home crowd.
