Huntsville Police now confirm that a shooting at a popular restaurant did involve an off-duty officer. According to Huntsville Police Chief Kirk Giles, the 911 call went out just after 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

According to Don Webster with HEMSI, the shooting happened on the 5900 block of University Drive just before 10 p.m. Saturday. Webster says all four people injured were taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Center for treatment. One person is listed in critical condition. The conditions of the three others are still being assessed at this time.
