The Alexander Police Department is searching for a suspect who stole a vehicle and led police on a pursuit before evading them on foot.

Deputies arrested a robbery suspect following a vehicle pursuit on Tuesday, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. Around 10:50 a.m., deputies were alerted to an armed robbery in the 20000 block of Redwood Road in Castro Valley.

Oakland police are looking for a car believed to be suspected of two armed robberies in the city last week. Snap-on is offering an up to $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
